ART

ART is a desk with adjustable height. The original idea behind the search of the form has been to provide a solution for design lovers who crave a change to widespread uniformed standard products

The table’s legs and upright soft screen geometry have zoomorphic influences, the form of which has been inspired by J. Koort’s sculpture “Kits” /“Goat“. With nature in mind, also the choice of material and colour have been made. The board and legs of the table are made of birch plywood grown in our forests. The details showcase a cross-section of natural birch plywood, with stripes running along the perimeter of the form. The surface of the desk is covered with human-friendly soft desktop linoleum.

Product development has focused on achieving maximum table stability. This is made possible by the three-point desk leg touching the floor, which also helps the table top to firmly remain in its highest position.
