HIPPO armchair
The distinctive timber profile of the Hippo armchair works almost as an architectural element, in sharp contrast to the round, soft backrest and seat. The seams across the seat are placed deliberately to build the rounded shape the chair is after.
A lounge chair that allows a reversed sitting position asks more of its construction, because there is no single right way to sit in it. A backrest built into the seat keeps the Hippo armchair both handsome and durable.
The Hippo armchair can also be ordered fully upholstered, leg profile included, which gives the series a softer touch. The characteristic leg profile is then upholstered like the seat and back, lending the chair a warm surface and strong lines.
