SOHO dining table

Made of travertine, the Soho table sets its column and top against one another. The top is thin and light, in sharp contrast to the strong, curved base of the column. That deliberate play between heavy and light is what makes the table interesting. The surface is treated with a nano coating to resist light staining, which keeps it practical without touching the look, since the top keeps its matt finish. The raw, untreated column meanwhile shows the material plainly, taking in the beauty of its small voids and characteristic flaws.
