Estonia’s leading provider of interior solutions, Standard, has expanded its international presence by opening a new representative office in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector is one of the fastest-growing in the world, driven by the country’s Vision 2030 goals and extensive investments in tourism and hospitality infrastructure. By 2030, the country aims to attract nearly 100 million visitors annually, and within the next five years, more than 150,000 new hotel rooms are expected to be added to the market. This creates a unique opportunity for experienced interior partners capable of delivering high-quality and long-lasting solutions.

The opening of Standard’s representative office in Saudi Arabia was ceremonially carried out by Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. The event was also attended by representatives of several architecture firms and real estate developers operating in Saudi Arabia. In addition to office and custom furniture produced by Standard, solutions by Marmi Futerno in the field of stone processing were introduced, as well as seating furniture from Tarmeko.
Over the past ten years, Standard has furnished seven hotels in the GCC region. Beyond the hotel sector, the company has also established a strong position in furnishing offices – in 2025, Standard furnished the Riyadh office of an international technology corporation.
